
Second Orientation Programme for NSS Volunteers 2025-26
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Units 25(A), 25(B), and 510 of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla organized an Orientation Programme for NSS Volunteers on 23rd August 2025 at the College Auditorium.
The session was led by Sri. Brahma Nayakam Mahadevan, a well-known social activist and youth trainer. He addressed the volunteers on the significance of social commitment, leadership, and community service. His talk motivated the students to dedicate themselves to nation-building through active participation in NSS activities.
The programme was conducted in the presence of the Principal, Dr. Mathew Varkey T. K., and the NSS Programme Officers, Dr. P. J. Varghese, Dr. Anitha George Varghese, and Dr. Sreelatha P. V.
A total of 66 students participated in the programme. The orientation provided them with a deeper understanding of the vision, objectives, and responsibilities of NSS volunteers.
The event concluded with an interactive session in which the students shared their thoughts and cleared their doubts about NSS activities. Overall, the programme was a great success and encouraged the volunteers to actively engage in community-oriented initiatives.
