Special Initiative to Promote Environmental Awareness
As part of the World Environment Day celebrations, PG and Research Department of Botany, in association with the Rotary Club, Paippad is organising a special initiative to promote environmental awareness and cultural heritage. The event features the handing over of indigenous medicinal plants of ethnobotanical importance to റോട്ടറി club of Paippad, marking the initiation of an Ethnobotanic Garden at Mar Thoma Central School, Kaviyoor. This green initiative aims to educate students about the traditional knowledge of medicinal plants and their ecological significance, while encouraging conservation of native flora.
