Swachhata Hi Seva 2025

The National Service Scheme (NSS) units (25 A, 25 B & 510) of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, in association with the Staff Council and Taluk Office, Tiruvalla, organized a cleaning drive at Revenue Tower, Tiruvalla as part of the nationwide Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign.

The programme was inaugurated by Shri Sumith Kumar Thakur, Hon. Sub Collector of Pathanamthitta, on 8th October 2025 at 9 a.m. NSS volunteers enthusiastically participated in the cleaning activities, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness and social responsibility.

The event aimed to create awareness about hygiene, sanitation, and community participation in keeping public spaces clean. The programme was effectively coordinated by NSS Programme Officers Dr. P. J. Varghese, Prof. Anitha George Varghese, and Dr. Sreelatha P. V., along with NSS volunteer secretaries and student volunteers.

The cleaning drive concluded successfully with active involvement from all participants, reinforcing the spirit of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
