Understanding Energy Humanities

The Comparative Literature Research and Study Centre and the Department of English organized a series of online Lectures on ‘Understanding Energy Humanities’ on 27-02-2021. Professor Stephanie LeMenager, the Barbara and Carlisle Moore Distinguished Professor in English and American Literature and Professor of Environmental Studies at the University of Oregon, spoke on ‘Thinking Oil and Water.’ Dr Swaralipi Nandi, Assistant Professor of English at Loyola College, Secunderabad, was Respondent to Dr LeMenager’s talk. Dr Nandi spoke on ‘Contextualizing Energy Humanities in India.” Teena T Elizabeth and Dr Ansa C Prasad were the Coordinators of the series.
