Visit to Navadarshan De-addiction and Counselling Centre

The NSS units of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, in association with the Social Justice Department, Pathanamthitta, organized a visit to Navadarshan De-addiction and Counselling Centre on 5th July 2025. The programme was flagged off by the Principal, Dr. Mathew Varkey T.K. The welcome address was delivered by Rev. Abhishek Dan Oommen, Director of Navadarshan. The main address was presented by Smt. Shamla Beegum, District Officer, Social Justice Department, Pathanamthitta.Counsellors from Navadarshan also conducted interactive counselling sessions for the student volunteers. The event was guided by NSS Programme Officers:Dr. P.J. Varghese,Dr. Anitha George Varghese, Dr. Sreelatha P.V. Dignitaries from the Social Justice Department, NSS volunteer secretaries, and student volunteers took part with great enthusiasm. Vote of Thanks was delivered by Alakananda B (NSS volunteer secretary).
