Visit to RLV College of Music & Fine Arts, Tripunithura

As part of the Indian Knowledge System studies, members of the Photography and Artistry Club, ED Club, and the Center for Incubation and Innovation of Mar Thoma College visited RLV College of Music & Fine Arts, Tripunithura, on 21st February 2025.

The primary objective of the visit was to explore various Indian art forms, including Mural Arts, Sculpture Art, Applied Arts, Kathakali, Bharatanatyam, and other musical traditions. The members also attended the Degree Exhibition of Applied Arts students, which provided valuable insights and opportunities in the media field.

During the visit, students participated in hands-on training sessions in Sculpture Art and gained knowledge about Malayalam letter font-making, tracing the historical sources of fonts from ancient times.

The visit proved to be an enriching experience, offering a deeper understanding of the Indian Knowledge System. The program was successfully coordinated by Dr. I. John Berlin, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Mar Thoma College.
