V V ACHENKUNJU MEMORIAL SCIENCE SEMINAR

The Department of Chemistry of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla organized the 21 st Prof. V.V Achenkunju Memorial Science Seminar on 31 st January 2019 at 9.30 a.m at the Golden Jubilee Seminar Hall of the college. Rev. K.E. Geevarghese, Vicar of Jerusalem Mar Thoma Church, Kuttapuzha inaugurated the function. Dr. Anu Gopinath, Assistant Professor in Chemical Oceanography of the Department of Aquatic Environment Management, Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) delivered the memorial lecture. Dr. Anu was one among those who set foot on the Arctic in the extreme north of the globe for unlocking the secrets of life and the environment there. The resource person also shared those blissful moments and experiences of the Indian expedition to the Arctic during the event.
