Walkathon 2025

The NSS units of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, actively participated in Walkathon 2025 held on October 7, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event was organized in association with Alpha Palliative Care as part of the Compassionate Youth Initiative, a project aimed at rendering Kerala pain free through awareness and collective action.

The Walkathon was inaugurated at the St. Mary’s College for Women Auditorium, where students and volunteers from various colleges gathered to show their solidarity towards the cause of compassion and palliative care. The event sought to inspire the youth to take part in humanitarian efforts and promote empathy and care for those suffering from chronic illnesses.

NSS Programme Officers and volunteers of Mar Thoma College participated enthusiastically, carrying placards and spreading the message of compassion, care, and social responsibility. The Walkathon served as a reminder of the role of young people in building a pain-free and caring society.
