Water Purifier Donation – NSS

The NSS unit of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, successfully organized a water purifier donation program at MTLP School, Kizhakkanmuthoor. The event was held at the school premises with the participation of students, teachers, and NSS volunteers.

The program commenced with a welcome speech by the Headmistress, Ms. Sujitha Thomas, who expressed her gratitude towards the NSS unit for their thoughtful initiative. Ward Councilor, Dr. Rejinold Varghese, delivered the presidential address, emphasizing the importance of clean drinking water for students’ health and well-being.

The formal inauguration of the water purifier was done by Dr. Mathew Varkey T.K., Principal of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla. In his speech, he appreciated the NSS unit’s continuous efforts in community service and social responsibility.

A felicitation speech was delivered by Dr. P.J. Varghese, NSS Programme Officer, who highlighted the role of NSS volunteers in such meaningful contributions to society. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Amal, expressing appreciation to all dignitaries, participants, and volunteers for making the program a success.

The program witnessed the active participation of NSS Programme Officers Dr. Anitha George Varghese and Dr. Sreelatha P.V., NSS volunteer secretaries, NSS volunteers, and school students, making it a memorable and impactful event.
