Workshop on Data Analysis Techniques XRD

The Department of Physics, Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, organized a Workshop on Data Analysis Techniques for Material Science with Special Focus on X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) on 5 December 2025 at 9:30 a.m. in the B.Sc. Physics Laboratory.
Dr. I. John Berlin and Dr. Anju K. Nair served as the resource persons for the programme. The workshop was attended by B.Sc. and M.Sc. Physics students.
The programme provided participants with hands-on training in data analysis techniques using JCPDS and ORIGIN software, which are essential tools for material science practicals and research projects. The interactive sessions helped students understand XRD data interpretation and enhanced their practical and analytical skills in material characterization.
