As the Manager of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, it is a matter of great joy and pride for me to welcome you to the official website of the College. The College, which had its humble beginnings in 1952, has grown to its glory riding on its objective “Education par Excellence and Educated for the Society’. Over the last years, the College has emerged as a major centre for learning in the Central Travancore region of Kerala, offering various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degree programmes. The College now has to its credits the achievements of A’ grades in the last three cycles of accreditation by NAAC as well as 84th and 92nd position in NIRF All India Ranking of Colleges for the year 2020 and 2019 respectively.

In tune with the vision of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, the administrative authority of the College, the institution imparts in students knowledge with a sense of commitment to society and the environment. Over the years, the institution had produced worthy citizens for nation-building with a humanistic outlook. Illustrious alumni of the College in the various parts of the world in itself validate its contributions. The College has always been gifted with resourceful and dedicated faculty members who toil to mould students according to the needs of changing times.

In this academic year, the College is celebrating its ‘Sapthathi’: As the College accomplish yet another milestone, I deeply cherish and acknowledge the contributions of its founders, former managers and principals, former teaching and non-teaching staff members and many others who have contributed immensely in its progressive journey.
