National Space Day Celebration 2026

The Physics Association of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, in association with the Astronomy Club, proudly invites all students and members of the college community to join the celebration of National Space Day 2026 on Wednesday, 19 August 2026.
As part of the celebration, the Physics Association organizes an Interdepartmental Quiz Competition at 1.00 PM in the BSc Physics Lab, providing students with an opportunity to test and showcase their knowledge and enthusiasm in the fields of science and space exploration. This will be followed by a Documentary Screening at 2.30 PM in the Media Center, offering an engaging exploration of the wonders, mysteries, and remarkable achievements associated with the vast universe.
Let us come together to celebrate the spirit of scientific inquiry, the magnificence of the cosmos, and humanity’s continuing journey into space. All are cordially invited!

Thampy Kurian Endowment Fund- Excellence Award

Mr. Thampy Kurien a former student of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla and a resident of 43 Delaney Street, Stow, Massachusetts 01775 USA endowed a corpus amount Rs. 15,000,00 as gratitude to his alma mater. Endowment has been made with the sole aim of promoting meaningful academic pursuit among students thereby enhancing name and fame of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla among other premier institutions in the country and abroad. Endowment is meant for one student in second or third year of four year UG (Honours) programme or second year of UG degree programme and one student in the second year of any PG programme. The total number of awardees in a year shall be limited to two.
