UNITED’24 – International Conference on Disaster Management – A prelude

Post Graduate and Research Department of Zoology, Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, in association with Department of Emergency Medicine, Believers Church Medical College Hospital, conducted a program on 07-10-2024 at 2.30 pm in the Seminar Hall as a prelude to UNITED’24, an International Conference on Disaster Management to be conducted from 14-11-2024 to 17-11-2024 at BCMCH, Tiruvalla.
The meeting started with a prayer song by Ms. Aseena M, III B.Sc. Zoology student. Dr. Susan Thomas, Head of the Department of Zoology welcomed the gathering. Dr. Alina V Roji, Department of Emergency Medicine, BCMCH, Tiruvalla delivered a talk on disaster management. Dr. Rainu Thomas, Department of Emergency Medicine, BCMCH, cleared the doubts regarding disaster management and the International Conference. The aim of the programme was to encourage the students to participate in the International Conference. Students from the department and the other departments together with the faculty members attended the programme. Ms. Pavithra M. S., II B.Sc. Zoology student proposed the vote of thanks and the programme came to an end by 3.30 pm.
